FYI we've performed many many in-place upgrades of Ubuntu Veeam Proxies through the years, 18 --> 20 --> 22 --> 24, we've never had any issues ![:)]( "Smile")
Always snapshot them in advance, then perform the upgrade. Make sure to do the "Rescan" in the Veeam console after the upgrade to make sure VBR is happy.
