I second this feature request. Like the original poster, I’ve created a “File Backup” job and added a second target—in my case, an offsite S3 storage. This works quite well overall, but there are a few downsides:
You don’t seem to be able to schedule the copy job. You can only restrict the time window during which Veeam is allowed to copy data.
This one is a real drawback: you cannot disable the health check on the backup target. In my case—offsite S3 storage—this will result in a very unpleasant traffic bill this month.
Are there any known workarounds? Or is this feature on the roadmap?
