Yes, it won’t work for our Mac Agent (nor for Solaris or Unix). These agents use the “pre-installed agents” protection group, where the backup server does not connect to the agent directly.
There are currently no plans to change this behavior. Logs need to be generated and sent to the backup server from the Agent side.
