update on the "disconnected hardened repositories": the current state of investigations is, that the Network Manager update caused a firewall reload. The Hardened Repository role (the software component that is installed on any Linux machine / on the Hardened Repository ISO) creates firewall rules dynamically during service start. That's why a reboot solves the problem. The bug was fixed for future versions.
