And for general reference, Linux understands most filesystems and can read/write to them. Windows only understands windows filesystems. So if you're looking for something compatible between Windows and Linux you MUST use a filesystem that Windows understands. NTFS, exFAT, FAT32, FAT. That's the entire list. ReFS is not understood by Linux and should never ever be used, except in very specific circumstances where its unique features are leveraged, like a Veeam Repository for example.
