Object Storage as Backup Target • Re: Reduce the cost using AWS S3

If we use the same bucket for both Standard S3 and Glacier S3, could this help reduce data transfer costs? Specifically, will it help reduce costs since we are using an S3 private endpoint, and currently observe significant data transfer when moving data from S3 Standard to S3 Glacier?
