@vee789 are you asking about the performance tier and/or the capacity tier?
In the HelpCenter article that you referenced it states "Important: Veeam Backup & Replication does not support this configuration for object storage repositories used as capacity tier extents. If you add an object storage repository with this configuration as the capacity extent, Veeam Backup & Replication will switch it to the minimum immutability period retention."
In a future update to VBR the capacity tier will support the "For the entire duration of their retention policy" option, but today it only supports the "For the minimum immutability period only" option.
