I have had the same issues in my environment with some of our VMs, but not all.
After manually going to "Backup Infrastructure" > "Managed Servers" > "Microsoft Hyper-V" and selecting our VM hosts > "Properties..." and clicking through the whole thing, I had one of the three errors less that are shown when testing the Application Aware processing withing the configuration of the backup jobs.
After that, adding the TCP ports 6160, 11731, 6173, 445, 135, 2500-3300, 49152-65535 to incoming firewall rules on the VMs that had application aware processing enabled and failing, resolved the other two errors.
I also tried installing the Veeam Installer Service on some of my VMs, but that did not change anything for me.
I hope that helps anybody else.
