I see the same behavior, and it indeed differs between v12 and v13. I would say this is not a request but instead needs to be investigated, so please continue with Veeam Support. I will discuss with Veeam support as I'm not aware of a known issue on this.
In the future, if you have concerns on how a case is being handled or processes, use the Talk to a Manager button in the case portal to connect with Support Management; they will review your case and allocate additional resources as required.
