VMware vSphere • [v13] about data movers

Hello folks,
With the release of v13, I noticed that support for run-time data mover integration has been discontinued—only persistent data movers are now supported.
Given that, what’s the impact on repository types like ExaGrid or Quantum, which (as far as I know) rely on VBR to deploy the data mover dynamically?
Are they still compatible under this new model, or will adjustments be required?
