Hi,

Well, good news is that Synthethic Full backup is already available for VAU in the most recent version of VBR (v13.0.0).

As for the FC usage - the agent can send backups to a locally attached storage.
Is your backup storage connected to your Solaris machines via FC? If so, then you can try this option.
