We would love to have this functionality.
We have one of the largest VBO environments globally. Doing lifecyicle managent on de back-end is now simply not possible.
Enabling us Users to migrate 1 repository to another would absolutely help this goal. It would enable us to move away from storage vendor A to storage vendor B.
