There is no config-migration of v12 to v13.
So I will create a fresh new v13 Software Appliance install and leave the v12 VBR running for older retention. Eventually import older Retentions but importing also a load of Tapes takes a very long time.
By the way it is OK to start a complete clean and fresh V13 install from scratch.
But we have to put the current license of course in v13 VBR so then we have running v12 VBR + v13 VBR for a long time.
Questions: Is this legal to run this with the 2 VBR's and how will the license be handled? Will the VM's count double, that should be an issue.
