KVM (RHV, OLVM, PVE, SCHC) • Re: New Proxmox Backup API in Veeam B&R 13?

We are currently testing Proxmox PVE 9 Beta
because shared LVM (on FC / iSCSI) is now capable of VM Snapshots (as technical preview).
And it looks promising.

But Veeam PVE backup will not work, because 'Failed to perform backup: Failed to map disks' in HotAdd mode.
Which makes sense with the shared LVM.

So I guess backup over native API would work here ...
and I can see a lot more customers moving to PVE as soon as shared storage is no hurdle anymore.
