Hi,
I'm following the 365-to-tape (lack of) feature for quite a while now. There is no (good) reason why this feature isn't built-in. No reason at all.
Technically Azure and AWS "immutable" backups can be destroyed by hacking the backend or having some config error which is not unheard of. My tapes are quite secure is multiple bunkers.
A LOT of people would love this. As more data goes in the cloud, this is getting more important. Why isn't this a thing yet after all these years... Is JET unable to have a snapshotting feature? Then migrate to a better product.
My question:
Is there an active feature request for 365-to-tape and if not, can there be?
Regards.
