sorry for the delay, I was on vacation last week...
The non-existent HTTP proxy setting blocks all updates completely including the packages that have the PGP keys. But the PGP keys are probably longer valid than you might want to upgrade to V13 and I would not be too concerned about that.
@ITP-Stan : The update manager in V13 should address all your wishes. It exists as independent service so the dynamic firewall rules issue should not have affected it because the update manager has static ports.

@1dna : that's not expected. The disconnect should have happened only once. If the disconnect happened multiple times, then the network manager update was not the reason for all disconnects.we have experienced it twice
