+1 for replication, it would be a very common usage for LOTS of SMB out there. I have instances where they are running VMware essentials without vmotion, on 2 hosts with local storage. Using Veeam replication allows them to replicate vms from one host to the other, so if they loose one host they can bring up the vm on the other node. Works really well in VMware land but because of Broadcom all are looking to migrate. The replication feature would allow them to essentially continue to do the same thing in Proxmox.
