Based on Case #07683744 I would like to propose a feature request.
There is a need to migrate backups to hardened extents within a SOBR.
Currently, the SOBR contains only regular extents, and it does not allow adding hardened extents because they are of a different type.
Since a large amount of data needs to be migrated, the most automated approach is required.
This kb https://www.veeam.com/kb4636 doesn't fit due to a lot of manual operations.
It would be helpful to have an option to mix extents in a SOBR just for migration purpose.
