Veeam Backup & Replication • Re: Netapp Ontap Support for 9̶.1̶1̶, 9̶.1̶2̶ (9.18)

Hey everyone, original topic poster checking back in with an important update.

My NetApp contact reached out to me today with some significant news regarding the ZAPI sunset timeline. It appears NetApp is finally moving forward with completely removing ZAPI support in the upcoming ONTAP 9.18 release - no more extensions or deferrals this time.

Given that we're now looking at a hard deadline rather than the previous "kicked down the road" approach, I wanted to circle back here to see if Veeam has finalized their succession plan for migrating to NetApp's REST API.

As we can see from @rennerstefan's last response in December, Veeam 12.3 is still using ZAPI, and while it "will work for some more releases," 9.18 seems to be where that road ends.

Has there been any internal progress on the REST API migration that the team can share? With 9.18 potentially being a hard cutoff, it would be great to get some visibility into Veeam's timeline for this transition.
