Then maybe the solution is a useful report?

Report that shows all mailboxes in the repository and what their last backup date was.

Remember the problem here is not being able to remember when the last backup of a object was done so that the last backup job can be browsed through.

Takes far too long to be guessing dates and checking each backup date one by one. It's so inefficient that I wouldn't care there is a performance hit by showing all content in the repo - I could wait that out.
