We have finally got a private fix that resolved the high cost usage for our client.
But for our own backup, the same private fix did reduce the high cost usage, but it was not back to what it was prior to v8 upgrade. But once we remove a teams channel that has an error (mentioned in my earlier post), the daily cost came to few cents each day, same as it was with version 7.
So it is a combination of a fix done by R&D and then a teams channel that has an error. We are still working on finding the cause of the error.
But 90+ days to get here and few hundred dollars that has been spend due to this issue.
