2025 here and this does appear to be an issue still. Could not connect to my WPA2/WPA3 WiFi network using the Veeam Recovery Media - when attempting to do so it failed instantly. Changed the router to WPA2 mode, rebooted the machine I was trying to recover and it worked perfectly.
There are no issues accessing the same WiFi network in Windows in WPA2/WPA3 mode (in fact, it actually pops up with a message that WPA3 is now available).
