I suggest NOT suggesting this estimation to customers because it is often way off of the actual amount that either
- Veeam somehow generates through their API uses or
- Microsoft charges.
You already know veeam-backup-for-microsoft-365-f47/team ... 83260.html, and you can find cases outside this forum, too.
We too have the problem of excessive API costs that are neither remotely explainable with the amount of objects that Veeam BfMS365 claims in the GUI reports and in the log files nor with the number of channel messages from the Teams usage reports.
