When a VCD is added to Veeam Backup & Replication by an administrator, it becomes available for backup. At that point, the user decides how to configure the backup.
This can include backing up the entire VCD, specific organizations, or selected vApps. The backup logic and scope are fully determined by the user’s preferences and setup.
