Object Storage as Backup Target • Re: Data path of backup copy from VDC Vault

Hi Veremin,
Can I assume when direction connectionmode is configured on VDCV, when performing VM backup the VM Proxy will act as data mover which compress data before sending to VDCV?
I mean the configuged mount server will not function when direction connection is confiugred for the Vault when performing backup?
