Sorry for revamping an old thread but while waiting for Veeam B&R to recreate the replica files for an 800 GB VM, I stumbled upon this VMware article. I'm not sure what do they mean with this paragraph:
They don't recognize the issue (not support resizing a disk that currently has a snapshot) as a limitation or are they stating that the limitation is no longer present?Based on our observations, there are no known limitations from vSphere and not recorded in the Knowledge Base article 323136, which is referenced in the Veeam document Replica Limitations. It appears that this was previously tested regressively, and the feature could not be certified, which led to it being marked as a vSphere limitation in the document. However, both products are functioning as designed.
