Microsoft Hyper-V • Data Deduplication Veeam Repository

Hello,

I wanted to ask if I can activate the Windows data deplucation feature on the hard disk on the Veeam repository.
I would save about 50%.

But I wanted to ask if this has any disadvantages

VM recovery is no problem, the data deplucation role is installed on the Veeam server (all roles on one server)

But what about a bare metal restore?
Is the data deplication role integrated into the recovery ISO?
Or how does that work?

Or would it not work at all in this case?
