I'm not sure where else to put this, but:
For:
Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager Service
Build: 12.3.1.1139
For ONLY the Web UI:
When you "disconnect" the network adapters for the host you're validating, they will still show up in VMware vSphere as ready to connect during power on (seems like a major bug!)
When doing the Instant Recovery from the Windows console (Veeam Backup & Replication 12), the issue doesn't occur. VM is set disconnected when it's told to be disconnected.
Can anyone else replicate this issue?
Try (from the Web UI): "Entire VM Restore", "Restore to a new location, or with different settings", go through the wizard, disconnect the network adapter. When you get to "Power on target VM after restoring", I suggest you do NOT check that box.
See if the VM is restored into vSphere with the network adapter connected.
