KVM (RHV, OLVM, Proxmox VE) • Feature request – Limitations noticed in Proxmox backup jobs

We are currently migrating part of our infrastructure from VMware to Proxmox and have started using Veeam Backup & Replication for Proxmox backup jobs.

During our tests, we noticed a few limitations compared to what we're used to with VMware. We would like to confirm whether these are currently unsupported features or if we might be missing something in the configuration.
Specifically:

• Chained job scheduling: It seems we cannot configure a Proxmox backup job to run after another job has completed. The only scheduling option appears to be a fixed time. Is support for chained/conditional scheduling planned for Proxmox jobs?

• Backup encryption: We couldn't find an option to enable encryption for Proxmox backup jobs. Is encryption currently supported for this platform?

• Tag-based backup selection: With VMware, we often use tags to dynamically include VMs in a backup job. This functionality doesn’t seem to be available for Proxmox. Can you confirm this? Is it on the roadmap?

Thank you in advance for any clarification and for the great work on the Proxmox integration. Any insight on the roadmap would be greatly appreciated to help us better plan our migration.
