No, I don't think so. Our DBAs would prefer to manage their backups as closely as possible to the native MSSQL backup functionality within SQL Server Management Studio. Ideally, they would be able to launch SSMS on their RDP management server and centrally manage the Veeam MSSQL plugin instances from there.
