Applications • Veeam SQL backup job not actually backing up

Installed Veeam Plug-in for Microsoft SQL (12.2.0.334) on both servers in HA cluster. I create a backup job for a database via the "Veeam Backup Database" UI. When I "Run" it in the last step, it works fine. I can see it running on the VBR Console. However, when I "Save as a SQL Agent job" and run it from SSMS, it executes on SSMS, but I do not see it run on VBR, no error, nothing in event log. The entry in Home/Jobs/Applications is for the previous run. Looking at files, there aren't any new backup files. I am successfully running SQL backup jobs on another cluster, so I feel I am doing it correctly. Good backups are running on Win Server 2022 DC, SQL Server 16.0.11352. Problem child is on Win Server 2016 DC, SQL Server (13.0.7050.2). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
