Alright, for backup jobs managed by Veeam Agent, you cannot back up data to the Veeam Data Cloud Vault storage added in the direct connection mode.

Now "Connection through a gateway server" is the only option. We have some question; hope can really get some help here:

1. Can we deploy the VBR\Gateway in the DMZ zone with public IP, leverage it as the gateway server?
2. How can we group all these mobile users' laptop into a protect group, and install the VAW on all of them?
3. Any security concern with this approach?
4. Any concern or issue during restore?

The traffic flow during backup will be VAW > VBR\Gateway > Veeam Data Cloud Vault, correct me if it's wrong.
