Thanks for sharing the case number and sorry to hear about the challenges.
We do have a Veeam Ready entry for the QuikStations, but it was checked on Veeam v10 last and with Windows Tape Server, so I'm not sure that it's been tested with Linux.
Out of curiosity, is the Quikstation able to emulate any other library type? Just I can remember at least for other VTLs, the emulation was a bit "iffy" and it's possible another emulated library/drive may work better.
Please continue with Support on this case, as situation is not expected. "Failed to enable hardware compression" is a bit unusual for me as I wonder if it's failing to tell the drive "not" to use compression during the writes, as I saw similar issues on emulated tape libraries before (this was with very early quadtor vtl version, but maybe similar)
