Nutanix AHV • Re: Application-Aware Backup

I guess there have been alot of development going lately on both on Nutanix AHV and Veeam side. I'm not entirely sure how to configure a backup job in VBR 12.3 protecting Windows and Linux VM's in Nuntanix AHV 6.1 after reading:

where it says:
'Do not take Nutanix enabled application-consistent snapshots while using any third-party backup provider enabled VSS snapshots (for example, Veeam).'

Does the NGT setting 'Volume Snapshot Service (VSS)' on the Nutanix VM side have anything to do with how Application Aware backup works on a Veeam backup job?

Should it be considered to disable 'Application Aware' backup for VM's that don't run databases for the sake of less impact on the VM?
