VMware vSphere • Open Multiple Instances of Veeam Console

Dear All/Veeam,

It used to be possible to have multiple instances of the Veeam Console open. Now with v12.3 this no longer works for us. After opening the 1st console without issue, opening the 2nd console to another VBR host will inform me that i need to update the console and that we need to close all other instances.

Both VBR hosts are the same version*. It doesn't matter if I open host-A first and host-B second or first host-B and then host-A.

Does anyone else see the same issue or is it only not working for our environment?

* - both are v12.3.0.310 but one host has a hotfix installed for unstructured file backup. could that be it?
