HPE have provided a reference architecture document for older version of Veeam, but it is still applicable in general.

Basically, a minimal new design (if you don't have existinging HPE infra such as Blade or Synergy) should be:
1. Linux Hardened Repo server - you could use HPE Apollo 4200 Gen10+ with a P816i SAS controller full of disks in RAID60 + at least dual-10GbE NIC
2. VBR server (all-in-one) - depending on needs, you could go with DL360 Gen11, 2xSSD/NVMe for OS, dual-10GbE LOM, expandable in future if you need to connect i.e. tape library over FC or SAS
