The current config guaranteed that we have a fullbackup on a tape for each backupjob at the end of the day. In addition we are in the process to increase the restore points to 30 day/points. This is our goal because of the restore time.
When reverse incremental is not longer aviallable its is difficult to configure the scenario with the vbk for each day and the restore points for 30 days. Of course this can be configure with the syntetic full and/or active fullbackup but you need to have a lot of storage. Because instead the reverse increment for each day you have a full backuck for each day depends on the restore days/points.
