Errors:
Failed to inject guest runtime components failing over to guest agent via GIP connection
Failed to connect to guest agent via GIP, failing over to guest runtime components through PowerShell Direct
Error: Unable to perform application-aware processing because connection to the guest could not be establish
Error: Failed to inject guest runtime components through PowerShell Direct, failing over to guest agent connection through PowerShell Direct

I've just encountered to the above on a new Hyper-V VM and the best solution I found to this is the below

1.Turun on the file-sharing profiles on all the network profiles.
2. In the control panel, Settings -> Work or school users: Add your Veeam service account user there.
3. Then try opening the Admin$ or C$ from the Veeam Backup Server to the target server \\targtserver\c$ or admin$
Your problem should resolved.
