Hello Kevin,
By default, the VID Log Analsis is set to 07:00 AM local time to get the most recent logs (the last 24, since the previous analysis) and finish their analysis by the beginning of the working hours.
So, Veeam ONE users will see the most recent information about any Veeam B&R situations as soon as possible.
However, in case Veeam ONE monitors multiple Veeam B&R servers, it will download, keep in the temporary folder, and analyze all packs at the same time.
So, the disk space will be consumed for a relatively short time but all VBR log packs.
If applicable you may create per-region scheduling
- Go to Veeam ONE Client > "Veeam Backup & Replication" screen > "Veeam ONE Agents" tab.
- Select the group of Veeam B&R servers (using Shift or Ctrl for multi-select) and select "Log analysis schedule".
- Specify the local time (for the Veeam ONE server) that corresponds to 7:00 AM in the local time of the VBR servers group.
- Set this time into the dialog and save the settings.
Or change the folder location. By default, the location is "C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Temp\VID\"
You may Attach a new disk drive to the Veeam ONE server machine. The required space is up to ~10 GB * Veeam B&R servers.
Set the following value in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam ONE Monitor\VID\LogAnalyzerTempFolder (REG_SZ | String) = "Drive:\Path\" Notice that it should have the "\" at the end and the total length should be shorter than 45 symbols.
After that restart the Veeam ONE services to apply the changes. The old folder with temporary files could be removed.
Hope this help
Thanks
