Applications • Backup & restore of SQL logs

Hi guys,

we have huge number of SQL, their logs occupy very large amount of storage. our disk storage appliances which keeps this data does not support compression nor deduplication. we are backing up these data on our storeonce appliance.obviously the data which is stored on storeonce is much more smaller compared to original data. i want to know since veeam & storeonce are reducing the size of data noticeably, if i do a full restore of the logs in a new location, will the size of the restore be noticeably smaller? i am aware during restores veeam rehydrate & decompress , but i beileve still there must be noticeable savings, right?
