Veeam Backup & Replication • Re: VBR installed on server being protected

Edit. After some discussion the plan of installing VBR on this server since it is a DC is not a great idea from a best practice perspective (security and performance). We will re-evaluate and see if we can come up with more options.

I think we will likely need to live with the aforementioned limitations of the Veeam agent or install a VBR server on-prem which is possible and logical.
