Hello Michael,

Alarms should work out of the box. You may try to force them "manually" by changing the rule threshold.
For example, in Job disabled (Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365) set time in disabled state 1 min or similar and disable a fakie job to test. Make sure it appears in the UI.

If nothing happens, the support should help for sure.
