Veeam Backup & Replication • Re: SureBackup and Linux Vms

So my client has to open the ports and communication on the production VM ,so when the VM gets published from the sure backup job it should have the ports opened towards the Veeam backup server.
Is that correct?
The open ports will be active when the VM gets a masquerade IP correct?
