Microsoft Hyper-V • Switching to seal extent 1 repository - SOBR

Hi Everyone,
Our SOBR is composed of 2 Repository: Local storage (NAS) and the second one is Object storage (Azure blob storage). Now I want to switch only Object storage (Azure blob storage) to seal extent.

Question: when i set the seal extend, the Data will be keep forever on Object storage (Azure blob), mean that after i switch to seal extent, our GFS still in place forever?

I am confused with this statement in the User guide:
"All restore points that exceed the specified retention period will be continuously removed from the sealed extents on each subsequent backup session."

Noted:
I have configured the job backup to GFS: 30 daily, 12 months, 5 years and synthetic full every Saturday.
